Vakseen was asked to live paint a portrait of the late legend for Dilla's 50th anniversary celebration concert held at the Ford Amphitheater on July 18, 2024. This vibrant creation was painted in three separate sessions, starting with the two-day Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival. As a featured artist in the Hollywood Bowl Jazz Village Experience, guests were treated to Vakseen's first time ever painting in public. Vakseen's six year old son, Otha Davis IV, actually helped paint this portrait on day one of the festival and the artist finished the portrait at the Dilla concert. 

This original painting is 100% hand-painted and comes unframed, prewired to hang, hand-signed (on the back) and includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
